7th Annual Energy Independence Day!

Another year has flown by in the blink of an eye and it is yet again time to celebrate all of the fine work being done by the people on the front lines of combating climate change and searching for new and innovative ways to be energy independent and sustainable. We are very excited about this year’s lineup.

Live music performances will feature  Mason Porter Beaucoup Blue and Brad HintonHigh Street Caffe and Robin Mastrippolito, Confectioner will be offering food and goodies for purchase, and our friends at Victory Brewing Company will be providing complimentary beer tastings. In addition, Waste Oil Recyclers will be offering a variety of wines for tasting. There will be children’s activities and plenty of fun for the adults too.

Stroud Water Research Center, Organic Mechanics, Swing Green, Composting SCC SWA, and Preservation Tree will have informative and interactive displays. Jason Bowman from Charlotte’s Weld will be selling some of his creative crafts, there will be gently used CD’s for sale,  and children’s activities provided by Birl Girl Designs face painting and our friends Claire Murray and Tom Breglia. Our children’s painting/art project will also happening for the 5th straight year.

We are also grateful to have State Representative Harry Lewis addressing the crowd at 2:30 pm. Some limited tours will be offered.

We still have available spots for exhibitors / vendors. All of the bands will have merchandise for purchase.
